OICCI, in collaboration with Khaas Foodz, hosted a truly unique experience—𝗗𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗗𝗮𝗿𝗸—where participants, blindfolded, embarked on a sensory journey. This powerful event was more than just a dining experience; it sparked important conversations about disability inclusion and the role businesses must play in creating accessible environments for persons with disabilities (PWDs).

In his keynote speech, Ahmed Bozai, Chairperson of OICCI’s Diversity and Inclusion Subcommittee, said, “Inclusive environments are more than just a moral responsibility—they are a business necessity. People with disabilities bring immense talent, and it’s time we create pathways for them to fully contribute and thrive.”

The event also featured a panel discussion on corporate inclusion, with insights from leaders including Ali Tareen (Founder, Khaas Foodz), Fizza Hussain (Co-Founder, KFK), Saadia Fahad (GM DEI, K-Electric), and Fatima Arshad (Head of Communications and Sustainability, Unilever Pakistan). Together, they highlighted the essential role of businesses in creating accessible, supportive workplaces for persons with disabilities.

𝗘𝗺𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗵𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀: Attendees gained a firsthand understanding of the daily challenges PWDs face, reinforcing the need for inclusive practices.
