A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the Overseas Investors Chamber of Commerce and Industry (OICCI) and ACCA to collaborate on raising awareness, capacity building, knowledge sharing, and research exchange. The MoU focuses on promoting best practices on matters affecting businesses in Pakistan, including corporate governance and risk, ESG and sustainability — covering green financing, net zero, diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI), and reporting — commitment to the UN Sustainable Development Goals, advancements in technology such as Fintech, Cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, shared services and outsourcing, and the promotion of women in leadership. From ACCA, the meeting was attended by Helen Brand OBE, Chief Executive; Assad Hameed Khan, Head of ACCA Pakistan; Taimur Beiram Khan, Head of South; and Ali Shan Haque, Business Development Manager – South.
