OICCI hosted an interactive session with Dr. Ishrat Husain on the launch of his latest book ‘Development Pathways – India, Pakistan, Bangladesh 1947-2022’.

During the dialogue with OICCI President Amir Paracha and CE/Secretary General M Abdul Aleem, Dr. Husain shared insights and experiences of socioeconomic development of three major countries in South Asia – India, Pakistan and Bangladesh.

Emphasizing the importance of strengthening the existing institutions in Pakistan, Dr. Husain said that there is a need to self-reflect and “put our house in order”. He also answered compelling questions raised by OICCI members on the economic landscape of Pakistan.
