On Global Ethics Day 2024, OICCI's Executive Director, Kashif Shafi, represented the Chamber at the ACCA-hosted panel discussion, sharing profound perspectives on it’s evolving role in Pakistan’s economic landscape. He addressed critical issues such as the foreign exchange crisis and tax reforms, emphasizing the importance of reliable data to counter misinformation.

Shafi also highlighted OICCI’s commitment to sustainability and ESG, showcasing initiatives such as hosting climate conferences and collaborating with global leaders to drive ethical and sustainable business practices in Pakistan. He stressed the need for policy consistency and a stable environment to attract foreign investment, outlining OICCI’s key recommendations for enhancing FDI, including transparent policies, regulatory simplification, and investing in human capital development.
