The Overseas Investors Chamber of Commerce & Industry (OICCI) leverages its strength from a team of highly dedicated and competent professionals. The core team of the OICCI constitutes individuals coming from diverse backgrounds and equipped with strong analytical, research and communication skills. The chamber uses a matrix model as its organisational structure where all members communicate with each other directly creating an environment of confidence and freedom of expression. Secretary General’s Office: is responsible for giving directions and setting the goals for all departments of the chamber. Its main focus has been on the profile building of the chamber and has achieved this to a great extent by increased responsiveness and interaction with OICCI members. 1. Policy & Research

The Policy & Research Department is one of the fundamental pillars of the organisation and is responsible for:

  • Communication at the highest level of Government to highlight issues, bottlenecks and give policy recommendation.
  • Preparing regular and specific reports, papers and presentations for senior management
  • Providing input, carrying out research analysis, including the analysis of existing reports and policies

Communications & PR Department at the OICCI works towards building the profile of the Chamber through effective means, which include but are not limited to:

  • Media Management
  • Press Release
  • Stakeholder Communication

3. Corporate & Certification

The Corporate & Certification Department’s primary role is to facilitate OICCI members with services such as:

  • Issuing Visa Recommendation Letters to member companies for their employees and executives proceeding on business trips to different countries
  • Attestation of commercial documents such as invoices, packing lists and bills of lading among others
  • Issuance of the certificates of origin for exporters

The Finance & Admin Department manages all aspects of finance and information technology administration. Its primary functions are:

  • Staff-related matters
  • Safe and secure office environment
  • Deployment of IT infrastructure facility and event management
  • Proper arrangements for events
  • Imposition of effective insurance policies for the chamber as well as its staff
  • Maintaining treasury-related matters and financial accounts of the chamber
  • Establishing clear and cohesive administrative and financial procedures in line with the internal control system
